In case you missed it, below are the Council Actions from the May 12, 2015 Town Council meeting  

  • Approved the Minutes of the April 14, 2015 Town Council Meeting.
  • Re-appointment of the following:
  • Town Administrator, Daniel Clark
  • Town Clerk, Mary Pinkerman
  • Chief of Police, Wes Smith
  • Approved Resolution #15-06 – Authorizing the issuance of a line of credit note in the principal amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00 to provide short term financing for catastrophic events in a declared storm.
  • Approved Resolution #15-12 – Appointing a representative and alternate representatives to the Palm Beach County League of Cities, Inc.
  • Approved Resolution #15-13 – Appointing Members to the Zoning Board of Adjustments.
  • Approved  Resolution #15-14 – Expressing Appreciation for the Goods, Equipment and Services Rendered for the Town’s 10th Annual Waterway Cleanup.
  • Approved  Resolution #15-15 – Expressing Appreciation for the Goods, Equipment and Services Rendered for the 8th Annual Bass Fishing Tournament.
  • Approved  Resolution #15-16 – Authorizing the negotiated sale of a line of credit promissory note bank financing for catastrophic events in a declared storm, in the principal amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00.
  • Approved  Proclamation by the Town Council proclaiming May, 2015 as “Civility Month”.    
  • Approved  Proclamation by the Town Council Proclaiming the week of May 10 – 16, 2015 as National Police Week.
  • Approved  Proclamation by the Town Council recognizing the week of May 17 - 23, 2015 as “Water Reuse Week”.   
  • Approved Proclamation by the Town Council proclaiming May 25, 2015 as National Missing Children’s Day.
  • Approved the annual resident “Hurricane Awareness” workshop for Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 6:30 PM.
  • Approved the second and final reading of Ordinance #15-01 – Amending Chapter 2 – Administration ~ By adding Chapters under the jurisdiction of the Code Enforcement Board.
  • Approved the second and final reading of Ordinance #15-02 – Opting out of the provisions for uniform filing dates and uniform election dates.
  • Approved the second and final reading of Ordinance #15-03 – Amending Chapter 18 – Elections - By setting the dates for elections and qualifying periods.
