LCS receives $15K in recycling revenue from the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) Governing Board

In 2010, the Solid Waste Authority (SWA) Governing Board implemented a Recycling Revenue Share Program with partnering municipalities to strengthen participation and increase the amount of materials recovered.

As a result of the outstanding recycling efforts by our residents, the Town of Lake Clarke Shores has received $15,250.25 since the program was implemented in fiscal year 2010.

Through our cooperative partnership, the Town has recycled 419.06 tons of material which helps to conserve valuable landfill space and natural resources.  This amounts to 572 lbs per household.
