Household garbage collection days are Tuesdays & Fridays. Vegetation collection day is Monday. Recycling collection day is Tuesday. Special trash pick-up (bulk) is every Monday. Please call Waste Management at 1-888-648-1717, and choose "Dial 2" for Customer Service, regarding missed pick-ups, etc.  Garbage is defined as usual household refuse.

Vegetation may consist of grass clippings, palm fronds, tree limbs, fruit attached to limbs, loose leaves, clippings, etc., and must be put in bags or garbage cans. No container weighing over fifty pounds or limbs longer than six feet in length will be picked up. Garbage and vegetation cannot be mixed together.

Recycling: aluminum beverage cans only, glass food/beverage cans, plastic containers. Newspapers, inserts, magazines, etc. are to be separated and in brown paper grocery bags or bundled. Flattened, corrugated cardboard boxes less than 3 ft. by 3 ft. by 3 ft. will be accepted. Cardboard cereal boxes, etc. are not recyclable. Recycle bins are available at Town Hall.

Special trash pick-up (Monday "bulk"): old appliances, water heaters, furniture, a maximum of 2 tires (off rims) per yr. and miscellaneous items.

Hazardous Waste such as paint; motor oil; combustible items (propane tanks, gas cans, etc.); corrosives and toxicants will not be picked up. For proper disposal of these materials, please call the Solid Waste Authority at 930-2727.

Construction debris may be picked up by Waste Management for an additional fee to the resident. Please call 1-888-648-1717 for information.
