PUBLIC NOTICE FOR RESIDENTS ALONG THE MAIN LAKE

Sunday, March 4, 2018 – TOWN OF LAKE CLARKE SHORES - PUBLIC NOTICE FOR RESIDENTS ALONG THE MAIN LAKE

As a reminder, residents along the Main Lake (not including the canals) that draw water directly from Lake Clarke for irrigation should complete any watering use today, March 4th. Palm Beach County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management will be conducting an aquatic plant control for the exotic plant - Hydrilla. The process will be using herbicide Sonar that could cause injury to your vegetation.

There are no additional restrictions for swimming or fishing.

Residents that may have received a notice that are not along the main lake, or pull their water from a well for irrigation, may disregard the notice.

Treatment is expected to begin, tomorrow, Monday, March 5, 2018. We will be sure to notice residents when the plant control activities have ceased, and you may resume irrigation as normal.

Should you have any questions, regarding the process, please contact Palm Beach County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management at 561-233-2466.
