Changes to Town Council

Three of the five Town Council seats are changing. Due to a trio of resignations, one new Town Council member was appointed in December and two more are expected to be appointed at a future meeting.

Town Council member Robert Gonzolez announced his immediate resignation from the Council during the December meeting. Taylor Materio was appointed to finish his term.

At the December meeting, Town Council member Robert Shalhoub announced his intention to resign from the Council at the end of December. Mr. Shalhoub served 31 years on the Town Council.

Also at the December meeting, Town Council member Valentin Rodriguez, Jr. announced his intention to resign from the Council at the end of December. Mr. Rodriguez, Jr. served 17 years on the Town Council.

The Town Council will appoint two people to fill the remainder of the terms for both open seats at a future meeting.
